University Ethics and Compliance Office

The University Ethics and Compliance Office supports University of Illinois campuses and administration in fulfilling their mission in an environment based on ethical behavior and compliance with applicable laws, rules, and guidelines. The University Ethics and Compliance Office is the designated liaison to receive and, as necessary, coordinate and/or refer the investigation of fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, misconduct, or other violations of applicable laws, rules, or guidelines.

The Statement of Economic Interests must be post-marked by today, May 2, 2016, to avoid late fees. 

The fines associated with late filing of the Statement of Economic Interests form with the Office of the Secretary of State are as follows:

May 3rd - 16thA flat $15 fine will be assessed to all late filers by the Secretary of State.

May 17th through filing A rate of $100/day, in addition to the flat $15 filing penalty, will be assessed until the completed form is received by the Office of the Secretary of State.

ALL COMPLETED STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS FORMS MUST BE MAILED DIRECTLY TO THE SECRETARY OF STATE.

The Supplemental Statement of Interests forms were due to the Executive Ethics Commission May 1, 2016.  There are no financial penalties associated with failure to file this form as there are with the Statement of Economic Interests.
