Our facilities are world-class, and our technology is state-of-the-art, but our people are our greatest asset. Every employee contributes to the university mission, so we must all strive to make the institution a safe place to work, study or visit. This means making workplace and campus safety a priority. It means reporting suspected unsafe conditions or situations, and watching out for each other. It means developing safe relationships – whether personal or professional – that promote mutual respect, trust, empathy, and dialogue. Finally, it means taking the time to learn what safety rules apply where we work or study, and then actively enforcing them.
