Procurement Communications Reporting

The Illinois Procurement Code (30 ILCS 500/50-39) defines procurement communications and identifies those communications that require reporting.  Only those communications related to contracting with potential vendors or change orders where the parties involved will participate substantially in the award of a state contract should be considered for reporting.  There are many exceptions to reporting, including, but not limited to, standard procurement processes used in bidding procedures and communications made in a public forum.
